Default Looking at pair of 5.1 Headphones... - 08-14-2004, 18:30 | posts: n/a

Looking at a pair of 5.1 Headphones for gaming and the occasional movie. No specific brands yet.

Anyone have a pair? How do they perform? Any brand recommendations?

Thanks

I got a pair of the zalman 5.1 headphones. They are pretty good headphones, for the price (I paid about 55 dollars). You should not be dissappointed with them.

If you really want the best headphones you can get, I would reccomend getting a high-end set of sennheisers.

Finally decided on a pair of Gainward SoundXplosion 5.1 headphones. Only 29 bucks @ Newegg.

Not bad for the price. Perform well with Unreal 2004 and Doom 3. Could use a little more low-end punch but a good all around performer for the money.
