Overclocking MSI 826 (MX400 64MB)

I've just purchased the Microstar Starforce 826 with GF2 MX400
chipset and 64 MB ram. I use the leaked nWida 12.90 drivers under
Win 98SE.

When I launch RivaTuner (RC4.1) or Coolbits I get weird clock-readings
for both core and memory - RivaTuner reporting 200Mhz core and
334Mhz memory (!!) clock; Coolbits reporting 175Mhz / O Mhz (!!).

I read at Tom's Hardware that MSI configured their card at 175Mhz
core and 166Mhz memory (thus putting the core clock 25Mhz lower than
other MX400 boards, which according to Tom should be rectified in
retail versions).
When looking at MSI support-site there is evidently a patch for
MSI 3d Turbo to correctly read memory-clock, but now my questions:

Is there a way to make RivaTuner correctly read both core and memory?

What is the default values for this board in its retail version?

Anybody know something about this?
Grateful for all help with this...

Please read RivaTuner's FAQ:

Q: RivaTuner reports wrong clock frequencies on my MX400. It shows 200MHz/333MHz instead of 200MHz/166MHz. The Detonator control panel gives me the same result. How can I fix it?

A: It's another driver related bug and there is no way to fix it. If you don't want to wait for the fixed driver from NVIDIA, you can safely use RivaTuner to overclock your display adapter (just remember that it shows double memory clock frequency).
Still wondering about the core-clock, though...
All MX400 boards have 200Mz clocked core
