Are you a dual boot user? There is some time and date errors caused by different time format between linux and windows, which can be solved by changing windows one to UTC.
could be you are part time lord and days and time mean nothing .............. or your cmos battery needs replacing
maybe maybe this mother board is new . had no time to use battery i use only one os system in my info and it sync with internet i never turn off my pc anyway for the battery to run off what size are this battery ? it wont hurt to try
Yea, it stops the entire BIOS resetting once you disconnect power from the machine And some machines will act up if they know the battery is dead/dying IIRC, Some Dells won't even boot
That's so you have to contact customer support. Naturally, the battery only goes flat outside of the warranty period. What's that? You purchased extended warranty? We'd better put in a better battery .
do you mean the bios reset ? when i close the power ? because that is not happening . my last p5q pro asus battery lasted 8 years . now i have a rog hero 6 i bought it last year and i dont think the battery is dead. there must be another reason cause the time get messed up minutes after i re sync . without turning off the machine . i see no other issue in my machine except the clock . i dont think ill replace that battery only for that. plus it was working before i last formatted . as i said i think still in warranty but here in the middle east i have the shop warranty of one year . we dont have asus support . i bought the hero like one year and a half . ill wait on this issue and see if it matters explain please c1: why you are taking shots at the title ? uke2: maybe you would amuse us with you :infinity:
Someone named 'Prescient' talking about not having a stable time/date... Seemed a bit recursive to me... :infinity:
the battery is ok i think my copy of windows has expired .. this an asus hero 6 battery it dosnt just die . be realistic
