I haven't confirmed this myself yet but I figured that MS might fix this in the long run.

 

not impossible, also windows update is kinda unfinished, its possible that WU try to redownload this every time...

Yeah this was the culprit,
And windows 10 RunOnce is working correctly.
AMD keep re-inserting this key when installing its CCC....
I'm releasing DDU v15.2.0.0 in the next minutes so it take cares of this.

DDU v15.2.0.0 screwed up things big time.

I ran DDU v15.2.0.0 in Safe Mode and when my machine rebooted I noticed problems right away.

First off Device Manager was missing a few things which I didn't bother to document and I had no Internet Access.

I then attempted to install AMD Catalyst 15.5 Beta Driver for Windows. I received the following error which hung the install:

InstallManagerApp
---------------------------
Failed to load detection driver
---------------------------

I had to restore my system from a disk image I took before I ran DDU.

Thanks for the report and logs.
I will look on this after work. If necessary, could I work with you on a TeamViewer session to see live what is happening when we use DDU?
I'm willing to pay if necessary.

 

No problems for me - DDU deleted all AMD's 15.4 Beta stuff successfully - 15.5 Beta installed just fine!
