It is not a problem and it must be so. Allow your OS to install uncertified drivers.

To allow Windows Millennium Edition to accept unsinged drivers.

    Click,

Start | Control Panel | System | Hardware tab | Driver Signing.

There you will find options to adjust how windows deals with unsigned drivers.

In the german version, I don't find the option driver signing, is that a problem of my ME or is it known?
If you know a way to do it in the registry, this will be great!

Ok. I searched microsoft and could not find any information.

These are the 3 values/registry keys that I found in Windows XP.

    HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-220523388-484763869-839522115-1004\Software\Microsoft\Driver Signing

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Driver Signing

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing

All 3 registry keys have a setting named "policy"

All 3 "policy" settings have a value of "0" zero.

Please note: that these registry keys are for Windows xp.

    I suggest/recommend that you

    Click.

    Start | Run. Enter "regedit"

    Click

Find. Enter "driver signing" into the search box.

Adjust all policy values found to "0".

If this does not work. Try the value "1".
