I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which suffers from frequent stuttering and low FPS (usually between 10 and 20) on my Alienware laptop. I've also experienced both of these issues in previous AC games and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. After a quick search, I found that some people recommend using D3DOverrider to improve the frame rate. Does this program support mobile AMD cards, and if so, how can I use it to improve performance?
To me Black Flag and any AC game is unplayable without D3DOverrider. Get it now!!! There are tons of games out there that doesn't support triple buffering. God bless the maker of D3dO P.S. It does support any and every graphics processing unit.
