Hey, I've been using MSI Afterburner for some time now without problems , a great app. Today I was recording some game and in the end of map my bf3 crashed and had to exit to windows and press "don't send" . Now I have 4.5GB avi file that I can't open, get "Cannot render the file" in media player classic and VLC won't even give me a msg, if there anything left I can do to save it? Thanks
I can confirm this. Whan BF3 crashes, recorded video is not playable in BS Player (with Klite codec). BUT... Adobe Premiere recognized it and I could open it and re-encode it to new .avi file.
Fixed this by replacing the video header http://www.moviecodec.com/video-codecs/corrupted-divx-file-with-missing-header-8907/
Well what do you expect out of the program? If I have a game die while using FRAPS or Bandicam, the video isn't usable either
