I have already submitted feedback to Microsoft through the Windows Feedback app, but figured I'd drop a line here as well. I don't know what the chances are of either party doing anything about it, but here goes.

When running MSI Afterburner 4.0.0 with the RivaTuner Statistics Server, it interferes with the ability to type in the Start menu search box. Keypresses intended for the search box seem to be redirected to other windows. If I exit MSI Afterburner the problem goes away. Similarly if I uninstall just the RivaTuner Statistics Server component, but run MSI Afterburner, the problem goes away.

    Thanks!

In case anyone was wondering, the Windows 10 Technical Preview is available here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview

Forget about seeing any support for OS until it is released officially, sorry.

Does it only happen when using the start menu? I'm using the start screen and it's working fine.

I respect that, but if you have new Beta Versions, I will be happy to test them. Naturally I would give my feat-back, when the Problem is gone and that will help the other users.

I do not ask for official support, only to test beta builds :)

Edit: I have send you an PN.

I will only mention something, that i find:

The Problem is gone when disabling the 64bit application support service in the RivaTuner StatisticsServer

So it is a temporal solution until we get new Version to test...

No Support for a technical Preview is ok, but it is nothing wrong to keep an eye on it! It will solve problems in the feature, and guaranty a faster support, when Win10 come out...

this is incorrect.....but i will admit some times it did work....still only takes about 5 seconds to disable 64bit osd and the search menu works as it should

Adding conflicting 64-bit process to exceptions list is much much much more wise solution than entirely disabling 64-bit support service.

I but for the moment we have no other solution, my Start Menu works 99% with the 64bit enable (what ist not the case for primetime).

So we must hope that a new Windows Build or new Staticstics Server will solve the problem.

Because it do not work at all in Build 9842 and work better on Build 9860... it is perhaps more a Problem from Windows 10 itself...
