I have an MSI HD 7770 (1020OC). I am wanting to underclock the memory, but it will only allow me to go 150 below core clock (1140/990 in my case). I have an HD 6850 as main card, and HD 6570 as other card. I can get the memory underclocked to 525 and 330Mhz on other cards with unofficial overclocking enabled. Problem is, if I enable unofficial overclocking, the 7770 is completely uncontrollable (sliders at 0, will not accept anything). My 6570 did this before, but I figured out it will work if I set it to extended desktop. It doesn't matter if it is an extended desktop, and I have tried the disabling DLPS or whatever in registry (that didn't work at all, still need to swap extended desktop once when I restart to prevent staying to idle/2D clocks). I want to underclock memory, because my GPGPU load is not effected by memory speeds, and it lowers temps by ~8C.
Hello~ Sorry, it is can't lower, maybe you can try CCC control. But the Memory has a default operating frequency range. Too high, too low will not work fine... Thanks
