Ok I think that some back ground here is needed...I let windows update..update me from dx6 to dx7...and then I went out and hunted the newest drivers for my voodoo card...well diamond site only has drvers up to dx6 so i go and get the refrance drivers from 3dfx posted july 2000...they are for dx7...thats when all hell broke out and now my games are really choppy and about ever 4th time I load up a quake 2 game it will start to exe my config...then my pc goes black and reboots with no help from me what so ever......can anyone help !!!!<BR>If you cna help post here or email me at nnyg@yahoo.com
Those drivers work with my Voodoo2 excellent.<BR>Try to unistall the drivers TOTALLY ,and then re-install them.Are u sure that DirectX was succesfully installed?
Tonight I will remove all drivers for voodoo and pull my board. Then Im going to reinstall .this is the only thing i havent tryed yet. dx 7 is installed and seems to be doing its job fine ..THANKS
