Hey I have a couple questions regarding the SoundBlaster Z.

Right now i'm using X-Fi XtremeMusic and the sound quality is great however after searching for the Recon3D sound card I found out that the sound quality is actually worse than the X-Fi series cards. Is the SB Z superior to the X-Fi? I don't care about effects, 3D stuff, upmixing or whatever, i care only about the pure raw sound quality for any kind of audio.

Secondly, the X-Fi cards have 3 modes and the audio creation mode has Bit-Matched Playback and Recording. Do the SB Z cards have the same features? I can't seem to find any information regarding this.

Yes the Z is much better than the X-Fi in sound quality. I came from a Auzen Prelude which is a very high quality X-Fi and I notice the difference.
