    It does seem a little excessive, but also seems like a natural progression on where things are going right now.

    i'd say it's more future proof :)

    it's good that they're constantly pushing the performance of these devices. the future of the casual pc/laptop could very well lie in these tablets + docking stations.

    I thought it was said that it couldn't run all 8 cores at once. I thought it could only run either the high power or low power core and not both at the same time. If not, kool, but it's still overkill and still way too big.

    It actually has a mode where it can run all 8 cores at once but I doubt it ever will be utilized.

    Anyway I'm still skeptical about the big.little architecture, I really want to see how the battery life is in non "race to sleep" scenarios.
