No it isn't, a lot of ASUS boards don't even have USB flashback.

I have tried half a dozen programs to flash a modded bios on mine, and it always spits out errors, cant even overwrite it with it bricking the bios. USB flashback is/was the only way to work as it does not block check the bios file. Older asus boards didnt have this problem, but all newer asus boards do. Had same issue with P55 > P67 and Z77 boards.

Decided to take off the Megahelm and swap it out with a Noctua NH-D14. Also swapped out the original fans with the NF-F12 fans. Load temps @ 4.6GHz were lower by about 7c compared to the Megahelm using 2x Scythe AP-15s. The NF-F12 fans are on par with the AP-15s with the static pressure, but do it at 350rpm less. These bad boys are damn near dead silent, even at 1500 rpm

I'm kinda tempted to buy a few of those fans but they're very expensive for fans. hmmm, it would be like a £100 for 3 of them.

Yea, they're $27 each here. I got my RMA replacements for the p12 and p14 in today. Decided i'm going to keep the NF-F12 fans on instead and just sell the others.
