I've been searching and I apologize if the answer is simple, but I can't get my fan profiles to work. I'm using this guide here for RT 2.08 http://www.vaguesoft.com/index.php?pageid=rt207#fan -I'm using 174.74 driver from nvidia's site. I put "forcedriverversion" = 17474. -To test I made a scheduler item for fan @ 100 when range is 35-58c. Doesn't work :bang:
It looks like many 8800 series cards only have one profile. Read here http://www.mvktech.net/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,34/func,view/id,49141/catid,10/ here http://forums.guru3d.com//showthread.php?t=248005 and here http://forums.guru3d.com//showthread.php?t=257670
those links didn't really help. I know fan profiles can work as i owned a 8800gt so I don't see how it could be different, especially with a stock cooler damn.. I guess i might have to downgrade

Not working with my 8800gt either. Mater of fact, Rivatuner 2.08 isn't really working at all since upgrading to 174.74. I tried forcing the driver version, but not taking I guess. I hit the hardware monitor and it doesn't pop up either. Restart and it still tells me its an unsupported driver as well.
