Latest Beta now supports it as well.

    Set the following to True.

    Code:
    browser.tabs.remote.autostart
    browser.tabs.remote.autostart.1
    layers.offmainthreadcomposition.testing.enabled

this actual does enable it in CF x64 and it does increase the loading speed of sites (swtor.com instead of siting there for 10 seconds trying to load images it does it 3 seconds). kinda breaks some features of CF x 64 though.

It's really improved the loading speed with normal stable FF42 X64 too

Although the 2nd line was not present in about:config, the other two were, big difference, thanks

To confirm if it's working go here.

    Code:
    about:support
It should say this if it's enabled.

    Code:
    Multiprocess Windows 1/1 (default: true)

It did say that, but as sods law would have it, it breaks my lastpass addon

The LP icon shows no known saved passwords for sites I know it has passwords for, and if I manually search the LP Vault, as soon as I type a letter the site starts with, it says no sites are saved with that starting letter

Only way to use LP, is to manually sift through hundreds of saved entries until I find the one I want to use, and manually open it, and manually copy/paste the credentials into the site

Sucks, this was the fastest FF has ever opened sites for me too

Multi-procees is great but has many bugs, something like 100 bugs being worked on. They'll get there eventually. On the beta myself.

They said it's because not all websites are accepting the 64-bit version properly with flash, etc. It's an official build though.

Not every site has moved from flash to HTML5.

Official build yes OFFICIALLY acknowledged and ready for everyone consumption? NO if it was it would be linked too on the main page it is not though, only people looking in the FTP know about it.

When is Mozilla gona OFFICIALLY link it to there download page. only then is truely ready imo.

Then again I use CF x64 intel and probably wont bother with the Official builds

Side note I love the Mozilla is still tell people FF is faster then the other browsers, and still linking to test that was done over 2 years ago. it might been faster then but sure anit as fast as it was then

BTW Flash really needs to die,to many site still refuse to switch to HTML5....

    Just came across this:

    ----

Mozilla will only release the 64-bit version of Firefox 42 Stable to the official FTP directory but not to the download pages on the Mozilla website.
So, if you have been waiting to get your hands on a stable 64-bit version of Firefox, you need to point your current browser to the latest release directory and snag it from there.
"We won't update the download page with Windows 64 builds for 42. We are waiting for some partner changes before making that public. However, the binaries will be available on the ftp for testing:"
The reason for this is that Mozilla is waiting for "some partner changes" for the 64-bit version of Firefox. It is unclear who these partners are and what these changes entail though.
