What I have posted so far is my effort to get you interested in using good methods to solve audio problems.
The straight forward EQ fix is cheap though, the real mechanics are more complex and need good measurements to go any further.
The 1/1 smoothing feature in REW I showed you is only useful for high frequencies, it removes essential detail for low f plots, so you shouldnt use it for bass, I wanted you to play with it and see how it works.
There is little need for 1/1, use 1/3 to no smoothing depending on the frequencies you are looking at.

But good methods are completely pointless if the results you get cant be trusted.
You need a mic whose results you can put some faith in.
Otherwise I could spend hours of my time solving problems for you that dont exist.

Cool, thanks Muff But does it atleast look good, the last 2 sweeps, cos I was using 2 mic's before, that was the reason for the inaccurate readings...

It only looks that good if you are using a lot of smoothing, its not really like that.
Use smoothing to get rid of the very fast changes so you can see the signal you will have to deal with, dont use too much smoothing or you can miss problems.
You can easily see the signal on low f, so dont use any smoothing when working with bass.

We have no idea if any of the results are accurate or if the microphone type is even suitable for taking these measurements.
I cant help you without a good data.

I think if you are into this type of technical setup, I would look into a good measurment mic. I think the Beringher measurment mic is pretty cheap.
There are also a few programs that import data directly from REW and adjust your system response based on the measurments....Pretty slick stuff and many guys with much more experience in HT type system swear by this type of setup anyway.

Here is a link to the Berhinger ECM8000 which is like the staple measurment mic. I have been wanting to buy one for awhile to measure speakers and Room response but I keep forgetting about it. Maybe this week! Best thing is it is only $55 and you might be able to find a used model.

It is hard to dial in your system if you have no basis of reference such as a measurment.
You should also read up on measured flat and perceived flat aswell as "House Curves"

You may need a battery on the electret mic fyi

edit:
It needs "phantom power", this means it needs a buffer/pre-amp that supplies voltage to the mic down the signal lines.
Damn, I was going to buy one, they are only £41 !

See this page
http://www.bluearan.co.uk/index.php?...e=manufacturer
Quote:
Like standard condenser mics used for recording or performance, the ECM8000 is phantom powered, from 15V to 48V.
