I'm considering buying a new display for gaming. Low input lag, IPS, 120Hz OC. However, so far I have only seen 1440p ones. Are there any out there with 2560x1600 resolution?
None that I know of - and I own one of the Catleap 2B screens and it's phenomenal. If you're only running a single of the GPU in your profile I think you'll have lots of trouble getting to 120 fps anyway with a 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 screen with most current games.
The FPS is a question for later... I currently have a Samsung S27A850D that I can feed with 86 FPS (all it can handle) more or less without problem. I've heard of the Catleap 2B ones, and those from Overlord Computer. For a German, which would be the cheapest way to get one of those 120Hz displays? I checked the Overload website, and I'll have to add ~240$ for shipping and customs... though I know someone in the US, so I probably could at least save the customs.
There are also the new QNIX monitors that some of the guys from one of my other forums is testing right now. Might be worth a look as they're quite inexpensive. http://120hz.net/showthread.php?1880-HyperMatrix-s-QNIX-Q2710-Evolution-2-Review-Overclock-Testing The guys who make the Catleap lost their minds and the ebay prices got as high as $1450 for the 2B direct from them. We started looking for other options as the price climbed.
