GeForce Game Ready Driver 358.91 WHQL

I haven't tried reinstalling Steam but I have opted into the beta. Also turning off hardware acceleration in Steam does seem to have reduced the risk of TDR, unless I've just been lucky. I will see how it goes.

I have read that there are supposed to be new Game Ready drivers out tomorrow for AC: Syndicate so maybe they will help.

 

i personally think corsair CX psu should be avoid. GPU can damage if flash wrong bios.

Some of my mkv video files were pausing and skipping in PowerDVD 15 Ultra but playing fine in other media players. I read that people were having 3D Bluray issues with PowerDVD on Windows 10 so I uninstalled the 3D Vision portion of these drivers to see what would happen and the problem hasn't returned.

 

I'm seeing too many complains from these 358.XX drivers, more tha usual actually.

 

I don't. There is only one real new issue which appeared in R358 - problems with CP settings of scaling when using HDMI connection.

 

dont know if its the drivers or windows 10.


farcry 4 keeps crashing to the desktop when loading into the level.

 

This driver broke NVENC encoding in some of my encoding software, I don't know why I bother updating 356.04, the best drivers since 347.88, never again.

damn crashes in far cry 4 and its the drivers fault.

 

No issues here. Maybe it's happening in some specific place?

 

it would happening when loading randomly. as soon as the screen switched to the loading screen, it would crash.

but I seemed to fix that with setting nvidia settings to performance.

only problem is with it set to performance is that the desktop idle temps are 52c now instead of 32c


but would always crash when loading the shangri la mission.


changing games graphics to low fix that problem.
