Warning - Event ID 11 - Wininit - nvStInit.dll - AppInit_DLLs

    I got this Event ID, and deleted AppInit_DLLs, as described in the link below, which was about a different dll.

    Any comments - good or bad idea? Why does it happen? Thanks.

    1) go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

    2) delete, the AppInit_DLLs key

    3) Reboot, check logs and display functionality

    This is just a ways to load the dll into all software that you are running, I think 3DVision need this dll loaded into all software to works properly.
    I guess if you don't use 3D vision, then just uninstall it. :)

    Per this page, maybe it's not signed:

    It's a helper library for the nVidia Control Panel (monitor related) and most likely the failure is due to a bad driver install.
    Go to the file, check its Properties=>Details tab and make sure its version number matches your current driver version ...
