There is a Guru3D app on Google Play.... https://play.google.com/store/apps/...pp_071bf747fb444b11af3c76c604cc8ffe.app&hl=en Original article about it: Guru3D Android App available for download
It's not to hard to use on a phone. I'm using one right now . Of course, the computer is easier. I find often apps present the main stuff well, but then there's something you need to do that is much easier just using the normal web version. The same goes for web versions of websites, sometimes I have to click on the desktop link at the bottom to view what I want to view. Sometimes they don't even provide a desktop link and you're left with the inability to do what you want to do. For an app, you would have to work out whether to support iPhone, Android, and Windows phones.
There was supposed to be an Android, iOS and Windows version of the app available. I don't have an iPhone and I haven't seen it on the Microsoft store yet. I have the app on my Galaxy Tab 3 and my Nexus 4 though.
Another vote for tapatalk. I use it for every other forum and to think that this site being a tech site doesn't have it???
Since everything we do is free for you guys, there is no budget left for developing new apps. Basically the Android app is used by a couple of thousand persons out of the 3+ million people that visit Guru3D.com each month So I have come to the decision that these apps are not relevant enough to dump development money in as in nature we are a hardcore PC enthusiast website. And Talpatalk is simply is not an option. We have seen many security breaches based on something related by injecting that code into the forum software.
I browse the forum on my phone/iPad more than my PC these days, how else am I supposed to entertain myself at work? The only time it seems to be an issue is when someone decides to post several 4k screenshots, which then stretch page and makes the text incredibly small, resulting in you having to zoom in on the page and scroll left to right to read every post. That and the fact that embedded videos aren't supported on the iPad are my only complaints. Other than the points made, the forum is quite phone/iPad friendly I find.
I believe there is an App or a website to shrink down vBulletin forums, but I can't tell you guys to use it or seek it out. Do it at your own risk.
