and i just watched all of them..and im NOT impressed..looks like a REALLY weak game from those cutscenes....about 1/100th of D2 story quality..if that. what the hell made this game take so long to come out? obviously now it wasn't the story...just sheer laziness?

glad i didnt buy it now...really glad.

im usually REALLY impressed with Blizzard cutscenes...but these didnt even really hold my attention thru them..almost had to force myself to watch these ones....scary. very disappointing.

You play Diablo for the cutscenes? I'm glad you didn't buy it too, then.

EDIT: Did you really sit around, while everyone else wondered if gameplay would hold up, did you really sit around wringing your hands over the quality of the cinematics throughout the game?

The videos showed potential perhaps even for the storyline of the game, and the last two videos were horrendous. Omg, I couldn't imagine that after playing all of D3 to get the shaft in that final lame disney video. Nearly as bad as ME3, not quite, but pretty damn close. Just glad I didn't spend money on D3 (played the beta and did not like the gameplay at all).

Blizzard, oh how the mighty has fallen.

actually..I played the Alpha as well...and the open beta...so..in conjunction with that..is how I formed my opinion, and both of those were horrible as well.

and the fact that the servers are overloaded for the SINGLE PLAYER and giving so many ppl the 'error ##' message on launch day...seriously..someone needs to start some legal action to teach these companies that launch crap on day 1, that it is NOT acceptable. Either get it together or fold. Thats how business works. period. It's all over the forums..and the majority of ppl are complaining.

..and yes..the cutscenes were scenes straight out of 'the lion king' and LOTR etc etc....really really weak, they just spent more time animating them.

Seems more people are just flat out whining than anything else.

Blizzard made it very public that they expected issues to crop up on launch day. Without going completely overboard, it's completely impossible to predict exactly what's going to happen on launch day.

Can't please them all. It's understandable to be upset, but what some of these people are raging about is just plain ol' idiotic. But I think most are complaining just for the sake of doing so. If you went in thinking everything was going to be easy peasy, considering how popular this series is, you are mistaken lol.

yea i realy had to see where the game takes me and since i got blueballed in eve online i just decided to keep playing d3 until there is some good alphafleet action :p

played through the starter (up until you defeat leoric) and its alright. gameplay itself is solid, but the dungeon just seemed to drag on and on. hope they're not all like this.

when i was playing the open beta..i played in groups of 4 nonstop...same maps..same dungeons..none of the randomness they talked about...even if they were random...they were nothing to write home about...and as they said previously..it just seemed to drag on and on...this game is a fail. they are relying on the name far too much and not the quality of the game. Most postings on the forums would agree it would seem...

I tried it for a few hours myself on a friends comp and then left with no desire to play it again.. back to TF2 and Crysis 2 for me.

The game is great I am now level 60 hell mode and finding good items to eventually do inferno mode. Anyways typical diablo style play and you can like it or not. The online tradeing is great !!! I give the game a 8/10 score
