Well, ok. I did it. I killed windows 2K when I OCed my POS GF2MX to 166 memory. Yes, thats right, 166. The default speed of the GF2MX memory on every other card than mine Anyways, I OCed it to 166, hit "test", and got the full screen coruption that can only mean memory failure. Ok, I already knew that my card couldn't get there, so I rebooted. Then a Very Bad Thing happened. Rivatuner had saved the clock settings without me telling it to. Now I can't get into Win2K at all, and I'd like to know 2 things: 1) Is this a bug? 2) I forgot the frikkin' reg settings for the coolbits. Can you tell me Exactly where to go to stop rivatuner from loading and also declock my GFX card to normal? I probably could figure out 2 but I thought I would go to the source. BTW: Cat made full recovery and is playing Quake 3 right now at 60FPS.

This message was edited by patock on 12 May 2001 11:53 PM
