Hi there, currently I have a GTX970 and a GTX750 Ti plugged into this system since I don't see much point selling the latter so I decided to use it as dedicated PhysX if ever needed.

Now I'm wondering if I can choose which GPU to use to render certain applications. Like in some laptops there's a context menu where you can select which graphics processor to use(I guess that's Nvidia Optimus?)

Is there something similar that I can use? Or am I restricted to whatever GPU I've plugged my monitor into?

    Tl;dr
    Have 2 GPUs - 970(monitor plugged into), 750Ti
Want to use 750 Ti for certain applications instead of 970
    Is it possible?

Only if you plug the monitor into the 750.

    Damn.

I also have 2 monitors, maybe if I connect one to the 2nd GPU?

Anything you look at on that monitor will be rendered by that video card.

Yeah figured as much, still it would be nice if NVCP or something offered a way to let one select which GPU to use when more than 1 are plugged in and not in SLI, probably not a sizeable number with such a config oh well, thanks for your help.
