As in the title I have two 980ti sli watercooled with ek full cover blocks and backplates, each card has a custom bios and a core clocks of 1500 with the voltage at 1.218.

Under heavy loads and benchmarking the cards will both top out at about 44-45 each.
Loop order is res-pump-gpu2-gpu1-rad1-cpu-rad2-back to res

Both rads are ek 360mm with 3 fans on each as pull intakes.

Is that too warm? Not in a throttle or damage sense but should the Temps be lower.

I have a watercooled setup like yours,
using 3x 480 rads, and ambient temp is around 24c

    Res-Pump-Rad1-Rad2-GPU1-GPU2-GPU3-CPU-RAM1-RAM2-Pump-Rad3

and my titans x using custom bios, v1.218 and core speed is 1550

been playing overwatch for 3hours and each card is around 42-45c and thats pretty normal for my setup. so i would say the temp are high at all.

I have a 420 mm rad i could add in, Would that change temps at all or would it be a waste?

Temps are normal, adding that wont reduce gpu temps much either. Just allows the system to sustain a higher heat load
