So i buy a z380kl which has the Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 which is a quad core A53 cpu.

Here are the specs on gsmarena

I check on wikipedia that the cortex A53 is 64 bits as shown here.

So i got a shock when i find out that my tablet is actually 32bit. I got rather suspicious when i saw it was arm7 instead of 8. I check on Atutu and see it is indeed 32 bit instead of 64 bit.

Then i check the cpu and find out it's 64bits but armv7 instead of 8

I checked it both on cpuz and cpux and it shows that my chip set is the snapdragon 410 and cpu is indeed the A53 as advertised.

Can someone explain why then is my tablet 32 bit and the cpu is armv7 instead of arm8?

I think it's more likely the apps are not reading the CPU correctly

Specs of the tablet on the manufacturers site says ARMv8 64bit

Some apps say 64bit, some 32bit

Android version is 32bit, that doesn't mean anything, you can install 32bit OS on a 64bit CPU

Unless the tablet is a fake, there's no other reason than buggy apps for the ARMv7 reading, as it states on the specs on their site ARMv8 64bit

I see but how can so many apps show up a wrong reading? I tried cpux, cpuz, Antutu benchmark and also AIDA64 that you reccomended to me and all show arm7 even though the chipset and the cpu are correctly listed.

Maybe just don't support that model tablet fully, or the CPU maybe

Give ASUS a tweet with some of those screenshots, see what they have to say

It honestly wouldn't matter what one it is anyway. 2gb ram wont benefit from 64 bit
