Hey guys. I just bought an i7 5820k, x99 motherboard with a GTX 970, which works like a dream. My old PC has a GTX 570 which is not being used, so for the kicks I thought I'd put it in the new PC to use as a Physx card. Problem is it's not being detected by Windows 7 in device manager.

I played around with PCI-E gen 3 vs gen 2 in the BIOS/UEFI but no luck here, any of you guys know what could cause it to not function? I'm thinking I may need to update the BIOS of the GTX 570, but this will be new territory for me. Cheers in advance!

What board you have exactly ?

And does the 570 show up in the UEFI ?

It's the Gigabyte x99 Gaming 5. I didn't realise I could look for devices in the UEFI, I'll take a look when I get back and let you know. Cheers!
