I saw the announcement on the X7 and comments and thought I would start a thread on it.. Looks interesting. At $400 its not a bad price..
No sense starting this topic until the X7 becomes available,and some reviews from owners along with opinions and impressions are posted. Once some of have the X7,this will be a busy thread. Thanks Goat.

I can't stand the design from a visual perspective, although I may be a bit old fashioned. I prefer my gear to be understated if you will, and generally be stackable.
That Area 51 looks cool. I wish creative would go with a blue scheme instead of red. Does that ring around the knob glow red? That would be cool. Even better if it was blue and you could make it breathe. Being able to turn it off in software for those that don't like it would be good too. Edit.. Just realized the ring won't glow. Too bad..
If Dell sold the new Area 51 case by itself,I would buy one. From what I see,I could transplant all my hardware into it. Since I AM going to buy the X7,I have to find a way to get that Alienware case. A perfect match. I will find a way. I'm crazy like that. If I gotta have it,I gotta find it.
Give it time, you might start seeing the new cases on ebay, tho you could look on newegg and see if you find a case that close enough to the new ones if you want it now.
I wish you had similar interests to me in terms of audio equipment, as I'd love a pertinent review. That's not getting at you mind, I understand that we have different tastes. I'm just wondering what this thing will sound like with the sort of gear I run. I suspect it'll take a good long while until I can find any appreciable reviews.
