I have installed the last version of RivaTuner. It shows my GPU temp in graph. All is OK. My task is: to watch the GPU temp in the tray only! I don't want to see any minimized windows (for ex. of temperature monitor). How to do that????
If you look at your gpu temp graph's properties, there is a place to tell it to show in tray. So, each graph you are monitoring is able to be shown in tray as differing displays. MrWoo
Let's go step by step: I run RivaTuner. Go to tuning of my videocard. Choose monitoring. I see monitoring window. I tuned it to show my GPU temp only. In the settings I checked SHOW THE VALUE IN THE ICON. The icon was created. But... I want to see that icon only. I have 2 windows minimized-Rivatuner and Monitoring windows (with my GPU graph). what to do to hide that 2 minimized windows??? I'd like to see the icon ONLY.
Short of some kind of a script to 'hide' that icon for RT, the only way is to set it as an item that is hidden via the taskbar properties\hide inactive icons. I have not seen any documentation that achieves what I think you are asking. I know if you code it you have options of hiding the icon. Some firewalls or AV's do this so that only the admin even knows it is running, unless you know the process. I would suggest hiding it as an inactive icon. MrWoo
I am afraid you don't understand me. I know about hiding inactive icons using windows XP tools. I meant the other: I achieved to see the GPU temp icon in the tray. But I have the main window of RivaTuner and Monitor with the GPU graph minimized in the taskbar!!! How to minimize them in the tray (for following inactiving their icons) or how to close that 2 tasks in the taskbar not closing my icon. when I close that 2 windows - the icon disappears!!! But I'd like to see the icon and to have the taskbar free of RivaTuner windows opened...
Thanks! I have now only the one minimized window ))) The main windows is in tray. The window Monitoring is still in the taskbar. closing it - causing closing my icon in the tray. How to close this window leaving the tray icon?
