I am still running on my old ASUS P5Q SE2 mobo

    Code:
    http://www.asus.com/au/Motherboards/P5Q_SE2/

and am looking at getting a Crucial MX100 256 SSD drive for windows and my games to run on, normal 2tb as well.

Question is would the SSD drive run on my old mobo?

    Any help appreciated

I don't see why not, it's got 6 SATA ports.

Sure they're only SATA II so you'll only get about 250Mb/sec from the drive ("only" lol) but it should work fine; they're all backwardly compatible.
