Thanks for letting everyone know about this.

Our next driver will have a Crossfire profile for Dying Light.

are you from amd.. i think the ulpc and the way amd card handles the clock is the problem which is causing flickers... there is something about it.. even try this with fc4 and ac unity.. i wish if it was possible to get nvidia games works source codes.. i think they are exploiting some weakness that amd card has. and most probably that is amd cards run slower for a small amount of time ( for some nano seconds ) even when it is in full clock mode.. as we all know nvidia has this tendency of playing these cheap tricks..

i miss good old days when there was good compilation between these 2 companies.. now they are forcing developers to code so that other comapny cards perform bad

Good to know you guys are looking at that title for the next driver. Even on my single 290x it doesn't run like it should. It even feels like the gpu is throttling at stock speeds, and I think its a tad smoother at stock with a voltage bump. Really strange performance from this game.

Yes we have some single gpu optimisations in the next driver too. :)

Good luck, I can't get 60 fps at 1440p with 3 290x's. Gonna try the solution posted by sajibjoarder and see if it helps.

For the time being though patiently waiting for AMD to release the new drivers so I can play the games FC4, Dying Light, and Dragon Age.

Game for me runs terribly! Shocking lag on cut scenes and on occasion, when free looking and attacking NPC's. All other games for me are fine! I am forcing CF (1x1 optimised) I have turned off GameWorks stuff, DoF and AO.
My draw distance is at around 25% everything else is how game auto set, which is maxed out, except shadow map which is set at high. I have tried lowering details to low, but appears to make no difference!
Any ideas, or just run with a single card? until AMD and developers work on a fix!
Have to say, with latest patch 1.0.3 and a few weeks since release, I thought most of the bugs would have been addressed!
What is it about PC gamers beta testing games at the moment? They should not be this badly optimised, especially for dual VGA cards, the list of games not properly working with CF is ever growing!
Rant over, I just want to play the damn game!

Latest patch for the game v1.4.0 fixes all the hardware issues, amazing actually! I now have everything cranked up to the max, except shadow maps, I left this at high. Draw distance is now 100%, and you can now turn off the annoying film grain in the video options, result! Running crossfire (1x1 optimised) slight flickering, which I can live with! The game developers are aware of this issue, and hope to fix it in the next patch.
Amazing work by here by Techland, fixing Windows and VGA RAM usage!
Game now runs buttery smooth, including cut scenes, averaging around 80fps.
This is with all the GameWorks options on too! Happy days! :)

The game is certainly running well for me since the latest patch at 4K. :)
