Which Hard Disk to buy

I'm thinking of buying a new HDD. Should i go for Seagate SSHD 2 TB or Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB? Gaming is my primary focus when choosing between them so which one gives a better bang for the buck wrt to performance and reliability.

 

Western Digital

 

Go with the Western Digital. A bit more costly, but solid.

 

+1 for Seagate

But for what ever brand you choose Google that model number to see if anyone is having issues with it.

 

Also check out Toshiba HDD's. Formerly Samsung drives. I personally have a 4 TB 7200 rpm drive...enterprise model. Fast, quiet and runs cool. I still prefer WD...but Toshiba is about half the price...with comparable warranty.

 

WD Black drives are always good choice, go with it.

Thats like $350 for 1TB. Why would you get that over a 1TB SSD for about $100 less?
