This one is great, the others not so much imo.

But if you compare shadow of mordor to Ethan carter for instance, then its almost oppersite scenarios - shadow of mordor looks VERY good the vast majority of time while playing it, but when taking screenshots, only a couple of them will look good. Ethan carter on the other hand looks good in motion, but AMAZING on stills.

Im guessing its due to various effects in the games (or in Ethan carters case lack of, as it is pretty much a dead World) that will make the games look better in motion, than on stills.

You should put spoilers on your COD screenshots. The game is still fresh!

Lol. So.... Unity is still locked to 16:9?

What's the point of setting the aspect ratio if there is still letterboxing? I don't get it.

I don't quite understand it either but I guess Ubisoft won't fix it further so we'll need a Flawless Widescreen or Widescreen Fixer plugin to correct it, again.

The previous one runs like poop still > AC4 with hbao/msaa softshadows med/high, fps can tank big time. Just a poop engine not optimized for high fps/high end hardware

Its artificially crippled to "sell new gpus", overdone post processing and extreme DOF values will cripple anything, same stuff by DeadRising3 cut scenes.

I remember the days when it actually made a big difference - Tombraider Legend pixelShader2 vs pixelShader3 or SiplentCell3 with ps3 fx, not more suitable like in this AssassinsCreed...

Can't wait for proper next-gen stuff 2015, so far only U4E and Luminous engine look interesting. Cryengine3.x can be good too, but too much postprocess fx ruins it quick.

ACU looks average and it runs like ****. If i'm ever going to play this, a PS4 version is the only solution. I simply refuse to build a new desktop for games that look like this.

A couple more AC: Unity screens.

EDIT: Supersampling would be nice, MSAA isn't quite enough although I guess there's not enough framerate available for SSAA, heh.

Msaa not quite enough? Honestly, the aliasing on some of those screens, are worse than in most games WITHOUT AA :S
