Hi I'm not sure where I go from here. I read the FAQ but it didn't really make sense to me. I have installed everything, when I load up rivatuner - go to Power User and select Open Patch Script, I then select the Win9X driver. This loads up the SOFT9700 Win9x Patch Script - I hit continue and I have no idea what file to select. Any chance of pointing me in the right direction? Thanks. --EDIT-- I'ts looking for a .vxd file, which is no in system/drivers OR ati/support/wme-radeon-7-81 .. etc
I know it's been covered many times before, I have used the search option but most people talk about the .sys file and changing it to the .sy_ file. I'm trying to search for the .vxd file and I can't select any others from the drop menu. Am I supposed to rename the drivers when I'm installing them? Thanks
OK after *MORE* research I found that I need to do this: a)Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers . b)Find the ati2mtag.sys file. My C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers dir is empty, I installed to the default dir i.e. C:ati\support\wme ...... I have done a search for the file ati2mtag.sys but it doesn't exist. I'm using Win98se btw
