Steam Xmas Sale Starts on the 18th (Like clockwork)

If preorders are cheaper I would buy the witcher 3.

As always, I saved up for quite a few games out there, time to stock up that backlog (I actually only have like 3 games left there so it's not THAT bad).

 

Certain region locking measures have been taken, be careful when trading for gifts or buying for others.


ALL Steam games are now region-locked in RU/CIS, South America, South East Asia and Turkey

 

Turkey? me? why? rude. racist. unacceptable.

 

That... kind of sucks.
I've bought games for friends in the past that couldn't get them in their region.

 

Uhm, VPN is still working (activate RU keys), nothing has changed...

 

15 more minutes.

Already got Astebreed(Frikken Brilliant), Ninja Gaiden and Batman Blackgate through the gem bidding.

 

Any idea when this is happening?

Hopefully they have a "step-up" type program for those of us who bought the game at launch. I'd love an excuse to play it again, but not if I have to re-buy the game at full price.

 

I havn't got Steam re-installed yet, think i'll wait till after the Sale, so im not tempted

Same stuff, different sale. If valve want's to get more people throwing money at them, maybe they should add some new releases to the sale..
