Open beta release of the GPU3 core

    does this work with the 256 drivers?

    Im just sat here with "core is not" at the moment :(

    Some users have success while other don't. Also some are reporting that Folding is slow with these BETA drivers. I have posted the GPU2 -> GPU3 Transition Guide so may be it will be helpful in solving your problem.

    At the minute i am folding on both 470 an 250 GTS but i have the 250 on different machine running the gpu3 client at 5.6k ppd an 16k ppd for 470.
    Managed 27k points yesterday

    Does this support dual gpu cards? like 295? Or do i still need to run more then 1 application?

    with dual gpu card you will need to run 2 clients one for each gpu

    @ moonkin there's been loads of discusion on why they don't do SLI or Crossfire but it mainly boils down to

    1: far to complex
    2: speed of inter core comunication is to slow ( unlike the coms between an dual core cpu where both cores coincide on an single die)

    I try to start it and it says I'm missing some cuda .dll? Beta driver thing?

    Have you installed the 197.45 Drivers? If you are using the Systray Version, uninstall everything and then install the Console version. If you need further instructions/information, refer to my guide here: (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=322535)
