Free Bitdefender for 180 days no restrictions.

Wtf! This bitdefender wants to uninstall my Asus AI Suite and wont install without uninstalling it..... Seriously?? Already wanted to uninstall "Spyware Blaster" and i uninstalled...

 

If I was an AV Id want to uninstall ASUS AI Suite too, in fact Id want to uninstall it if I was MSE

 

But i am adjusting my all 5 fans there, manualy and auto when gaming , or when resting etc. If i dont do this, its fkn too loud when playing or idleing.
edit: Also forgot, adjusting using my asus wifi there.
Isnt there any way to avoid this ? Thanks.

SpeedFan. Problem solved. Also it uses only a fraction of CPU and memory resources. ASUS AI Suite is junk. It might not be as easy to setup and configure but it sure is powerful tool. I use it to control my fans.

Finally installed my 6 month free Bit Defender Internet Security. A big step up from Comodo.

 

Comodo has never impressed me. Comodo's CEO went on a long-winded rant after their antivirus failed the AV-Comparatives test. Instead of trying to figure out why and fix it, he openly slammed av-comparatives. Comodo only seems to be submitting to testing labs that will certify it's products. Makes for rather questionable ethics....

 

Bitdefender AV is good but the firewall in the 2015 edition sucks. They removed paranoid mode, zzz.

 

Use 2014 then, all anti virus definititons are the same its just that GUI thats different.

 

Actually they added it back, I just had to update it.

This is a regular occurrence. Nothing to get excited about. They give away 3, 6 and 12 month licenses free on a regular basis. They're probably the most generous security company.

 

Well i only had 12 days left on my subscription so happy days :banana:
