I am messing around with the video capture feature of Afterburner and I was wondering what settings everyone else is using to get the best quality.

I am sure system specs make a lot of difference as well. So could you share that as well.

Right now my settings are as so:

    Video Format: RTV1 compression
    Quality 100%
    Frame Size: Full Frame
    Framerate: 60FPS
    Framerate limit: Disabled
    Multithreaded Optimization: 8 compression threads
    Checkbox "Crop video dimensions" checked

    System Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 BE
GPU: Asus DirectCU GTX 650 1G
    RAM: 16G (2x8G) 1600 G-skill Ares

I am trying to get the best quality possible.
Right now, I guess you could say I am getting "useable" gameplay recordings.

What are your settings that work best for you?

    I use something like this:

    Video Format: MJPG
Quality 85% (100% if you want highest quality, obviously)
    Frame Size: Full Frame
    Framerate: 30FPS (maybe 25, don't remember exactly)
Framerate limit: Disabled (enabled refresh rate minus 2
    in NV Inspector)
    Multithreaded Optimization: 4 compression threads
    Checkbox "Crop video dimensions" checked
