Meh, sure they're listening, but I want full control of my OS, not this child proof OS nonsense. Its imply an on/off setting, its not really anything we couldn't already do and we still don't have control or information in regards to every single update that windows want to push, unlike with WXp/Vista/7/8/8.1.
Thread title is very misleading. They are only allowing one to control store app updates. The rest of the update mess remains in place.
Why wouldn't anyone want their apps updated? I mean I know bugs can happen, maybe offer a revert to previous version or something but why avoid it entirely?
It's just stupid store apps. Only windows phone users might care. The way things are, they should update asap anyway.
Cause its bugged? For the last 2 weeks the "STORE" on reboot/start once day have been trying to download and installed VCLIBS 12 update for me and it is already update yet every day it wants to do over again? and no you cant remove the VCLIBS12 or 14
Very misleading thread, they are re-introducing the option to stop automatic delivery of app updates and not Windows Updates. I'll go as far as calling this click bait on the basis that it links to another website and the original thread starter has not commented since posting...
