Help with picking gpu.

been out the PC game for a bit, but i want to upgrade my GPU.

Im torn between just adding another 560ti 2GB and SLI or a 770 4GB.

i am also considering maybe a 670 or 680.

any suggestions will be appreciated.

as of now i only game on 1080Pres. 60hz i am planning on upgrading my PC by the end of year or early next year.

 

970/980GTX are just around the corner, wait then pick a card.

 

A gtx 670 will give good performance at 1080p, obviously the 680 is better whichever you can afford.Hell up until last month my 580 was able to max all my games at 1080p including both Metro games.I always stay a few gens behind on the cards on account of price so the 580 is still a good gaming card in my opinion.If you like Amd cards a Radeon 6970 will be a little slower the the gtx 580,maybe tied with the 670?

 

i'm planning on buying 2nd hand. im not trying to drop 500-600 on a gpu right now. i'll worry about that later. im gonna do a full build.

i wound up picking up a openbox gtx 670 for a nice price. im happy with it for now. its definitely a big improvement over my 560ti. it will hold me over till im ready for a full upgrade next year.
