Actually looks pretty darn good with the dark black and gray color scheme AND it supports LucidLogix Virtu MVP which should be good to use the already powerful iGPU of the FM2 chips + a stronger dedicated Radeon card

Does this mean you could get effectively 3-way Xfire, the IGPU and 2 x 7670 or similar?

Why would you want to? This is an entry-level platform.

Looking at the board, they may be trying to position in midrange. If it was an entry-level board, then it wouldn't be equipped with 3 PCIe x16 slots (16x/8x/4x).

mid-range board for entry-level processors? Just doesn't make much sense to me...

Least the chipset has a full compliment of SATA3 ports, like the socket FM1 chipset did too. Pretty good considering it's budget oriented, not like Intel - 2 Sata3 ports and 4 Sata2 ports on the chipset for a high end mainstream performance chipset (z77) is pathetic. Even your drivers can't make use of SATA3 due to being mechanical, if they are SATA3 you still have better transfer between the device and the computer, which means less time spent communicating with the device...
