I was reading http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_770_sli_review,1.html Does anyone know if driver updates has increased the SLI speed? I have a single GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 770 GV-N770OC-4GD 4GB pushing 3 monitors@ 5760x1080. It runs most gpu hungry games at a playable level maxed out minus AA. The article shows some games such as FarCry 3 going from 32 fps to 47 fps. While this would make the experience better, I'm not sure if it's $300 better. So does anyone know if the SLI speed has increased?
Id say that SLI effenciency varies alot, but the average is about 70% id say, with some games only offering 50% more performance with sli, while others offer more than a 90% increase Cryengine based games (crysis 3 for instance) can near double the fps with sli !
My guess using sli since 2005 is around 50 to 70 % increase on sli enabled games. This estimate is on the conservative side.
