one of those 2. owho knows maybe even the cheaper panasonics are still better than LED for 3d use. I have a samsung 3dtv led and do yourself a favor and get the panasonic. unless u dont mind having crosstalk on your 3d image.

i still have not seen less crosstalk than on the panasonic. not samsung, not sony and not LG.

all of them are shutter except for the LG models, lg are passive and thus have lower resolution in 3d than shutter.

with a 3dtv for your pc you use nvidia 3dtvplay wich is the same as 3dvision but made for your 3dtv.

the hdmi 1.4 specs for 3d are 720p@60hz or 50HZ depending on your region. and 1080p@24hz.

i found out that 1080p@24hz is not bad atall when u disable vsync it plays just as smooth as 60hz altho i still play most my games at 720 in 3d just because it can be a hassle on some game to swith to 24hz when on 1080p

hmm im glad you told me this, on my current led tv if i play say crysis 2 in 24hz vs 60hz their is a noticeable lag of sorta.. so am i asking for problems when moving to 3d like lag or slowness?

ps just did another test.. even if i select 1080p 24hz in desktop and move my mouse i notice lag/judder were as 60hz is smooth, please advice

yes its normal that it looks like stutter at 24hz. disable vsync and try the game again, now i am not sure if motion plus was enabled on my samsung when using 1080p@24hz or not. give it a try yourself to chek. now if motion plus was indeed enabled for it to look smooth, it would only be good for single player, as motion plus introduces input delay into the image and that would be a big disadvantage for multiplayer action games(FPS) specifically.

but if memory serves me right i think i just had 1080p @24hz with vsync disabled.

that is the limitation of hdmi 1.4 (aparently) i truly doubt it. but nothing we can do. 720p@60hz is what u want if you dont mind the lower hd res. on the bright side u can then enable high amounts of AA and other goodies that migh not be possible in 1080p 3d due to lower fps.

in the other hand PC 3d monitors are different. they do 1080p@120hz but lack in size contrast and features imo.

3d monitors are only 27" and tvs just aint gona work for me so i think im gona leave the 3d tech alone for a year or two..

My Panasonic 50" Plasma works great with 3d gaming. I played on a friends LG LCD and am glad I got a Plasma instead it is much better the cross talk on the LCD was horrid.
