I'm not sure whether it is related to this driver or not but I'm now experiencing the following error with GeForce Experience v2.2.3, even after reinstalling it from the standalone executable:

"GeForce Experience has encountered an error and must close."

This seems to occur after opening the app and while it is retreiving game settings. I've restarted my PC and attempted to load the app several times all with the same result.

Anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if it could be corrupted settings or something (though I'm not sure how as I have not had a PC crash in months).

    @Darren Hodgson

Have you tried running it in Administrator mode? Try closing it completely, then re-open it in Administrator mode.

I opened experience fine , pressed search for update which it found the new 347.52 , pressed download update then experience crashed ... now experience crashes when I try to open it.
Haven't tried the new driver yet but will download from Nvidia later.

yes me too. i was able to optimize all games before it crashed. now when i open it it crashes instantly.
this is with the 2.2.2 version. (standalone)
ive after that uninstalled and installed again and updated to 2.2.3 beta before optimizing.
uptimized all after that again and it does not crash anymore!!!

Had same crashing error with Geforce Experience. Uninstalled it and then installed the standalone version from geforce.com/geforce-experience/download. Now it works fine. I guess the one packed with the driver has some corrupted/missing files even though its the same version.

edit: spoke too soon, restarted my computer and opened geforce exp again to tweak and it crashed instantly. Will probably try the beta v2.2.3 instead. Something about these drivers not playing nice with v2.2.2

edit2: scratch that. v2.2.3 crashing too when clicking on the drivers tab.

That link also contained the release notes PDF. :)

    http://uk.download.nvidia.com/Windows/347.52/347.52-win8-win7-winvista-desktop-release-notes.pdf

As usual it contains some additional info like the updated or added SLI profiles. :)

And a list of fixed issues:

Nope, standalone geforce experience installer doesn't work either for both v.2.2.2 and v2.2.3. At least for me. I was unaware of what caused the crash initially but then found out it was just clicking on the drivers tab was what caused it.

WhiteLightning says his doesn't crash anymore so im curious what's causing this for me.

I guess I'll just keep it uninstalled. All I used it for is to turn off my cards LED's and shadowplay, LED stayed off after uninstall and I'll use OBS instead. So whatever.

Dunno if i dare to try these, I have had the weird 1 sec feeze lag all thru 2014 in all games/vlc with my 780ti sli, then it just stopped happening with the 347.25 drivers.

Anyone know if these drivers still are good, or are we back to 1 sec freeze lag in games/vlc ?

    So what happens exactly?

One starts the download of the new driver through GFE but after the installation GFE crashes or what? I'm not at home so I cannot try it out yet.

I didn't even get that far , searched for update on GFE which it found but when I tried to download through GFE it crashed , now GFE crashes when I open it.
Haven't installed the new driver yet but I think I'll wait for feed back.
