CrystalDiskInfo reports Caution with a Seagate ST1000DM003 HDD I have on my system. Current Pending Sector Count and Uncorrectable Sector Count have raw values 18. I zero filled the HDD, recreated partitions, reformatted, checked for errors and the values don't change. Should I replace the HDD (it is not under warranty any more)?

have you tried Seatools from seagate on the drive yet if not then please do until then you'll never know for sure if it's the hdd failing or CDI misreporting...

If SeaTools tells you it's going FUBAR then it's going FUBAR time to replace

Seagate SeaTools Short Drive Self Test passes, Short Generic passes, Long Generic fails.
