Hi, today for the new release of driver 353.06 I tested the game to see if I have freeze (T.D.R) with game...
To do it, I wanted to set the GTX 970 to reference Base-Clock 1050MHz, so I reduced my Asus GTX 970 DCMOC (Base-Clock : 1088MHz & Boost-Clock : 1228MHz) to -38MHz and clicked "apply", but in game the Base-Clock remain 1088MHz, only GPU Boost 2.0 clock is reduced from 1316MHz to 1278Mhz...
Can you do something about it to be able to reduce in MSI Afterburner "Base Core-Clock (MHz)" & "Boost Core-Clock (MHz)" separately ??? Thank

    P.S : I had freeze (can alt+tab, T.D.R) in game with 353.06, like 352.86 & 350.12...

Short answer: no. It is beyond NVAPI possobilities.

I could be wrong but I think software OC only offsets the boost value, even though GPU-Z shows base clock goes up too .

My base clock is 1114 and even when OC I see that clock when going into 3d but before GPU load kicks in fully .

So I think its bios value is the only way .

I don't know what I have done be-fore but only GPU Boost 2.0 value de-creased in game O.S.D, now I re-did the down-clock and save it in profile 1 and now in GPU-Z the Default speed show 1051MHz, in MSI Afterburner 1050MHz...
