    You can still use 'reference' driver for that a.k.a. just update it with Catalyst drivers downloaded from AMD.
    You can't 'lose' the factory OC because of using official AMD drivers; those clocks are basically hard-coded to the card's BIOS.

    So, no, you don't need to do anything aside from download the newest available driver and then test it out.

    u have the AMD 6950 GPU which is made by AMD so u must use the driver made by AMD for optimal performance AND MSI is third part vendor not the actual manufacturer of gpu chip.
