Recording microphone mono with Afterburner

So I got myself an XLR mono microphone running through a stereo Steinberg UR22.

Whenever I record with Afterburner, there's only sound in my left ear. This is likely because that the line-in, UR22, is seen as a stereo device by windows, but the signal from my mic is mono.

In every other recording program, I'd just set the mic to mono. However, Afterburner doesn't have any such option.

    Any advice?

The audiointerface is sending a stereo signal to windows as well. But you've only connected on the left XLR channel a microphone and on the right channel you have no microphone.

And yes recording the microphone in mono would solve it^^

For now you can convert to mono later.
