I've set a custom fan curve which works very well, except after reboot the "enable user defined software automatic fan control" check box in the Fan tab of the Afterburner settings always reverts back to an unchecked state.

It's a simple case of clicking Reset and re-checking the option to get it to come back on again, and it remembers the curve I configured, but how do I get this remain checked after reboot?

Running Afterburner 2.3.1 with Catalyst 14.2.

If anyone knows how to get this to stick I'd be very grateful! Cheers.

I suggest you install the latest afterburner version.

So it should definitely remember the setting after reboot then? There's nothing special I should be doing to apply it?

Yes, but you do need AB running in back ground for function of fan control .
So make sure you enable it to run at startup .

2.3.1 is over yr old , 290x was not out so good chance that is all you need, new version as noted by above poster .

Yes, works now. Latest release is still 2.3.1 - which I already have - so I took a punt on 3.0.0 Beta 18 and now it is does retain the fan curve after reboot. Awesome!
