    Hey guys,

I've been desktop gaming for a long time, but I recently got a Sager NP7338 laptop to game on the go. I thought I'd share my experience and answer any questions about the machine. It's the first machine that I felt was a true gaming laptop in a compact form. I waited years for a sweet machine like this to come out.

    I got the following specs.

    i7-4710MQ @ 3.4GHz
    GTX 860m
    8GB of Crucial Ballistix @ 1600MHz
    13.3 inch matte IPS panel
    1x 240GB SSD Crucial M500 (system)
    2x 240GB Msata SSD Crucial M500 in RAID0 (storage)

This thing flies. Everything I've thrown at it plays at 60 FPS+. It stays cool, but it's a little noisy while cooling itself. So far I love it.

*I see that a lot of people have looked at this thread. Here is the internal view of the laptop. If you want more pics just ask, although the Sager website gives you a good idea of what the outside looks like. Beware, hardware porn below.

Wow! Those are some sexy specs! :)

Do you monitor the temperatures? How well does it overclock?

The temps are cool. Doesn't get hotter than 65*C (CPU) and 69*C (GPU) while gaming. I have the IC Diamond Thermal paste on both processors. I don't have the processor actually OC'd atm. I have Speed Step turned off and Turbo Boost turned on so it stays at 3.4GHz all the time. I had to install a custom BIOS to get all the essential overclocking features.

Here is where you can get custom BIOS' from Prema for most Clevo laptops.

*Well I guess I can't link to Wordpress sites for some reason.

Oh wow! This is a thing?!

Howdy, I own a Eurocom M4/Clevo W230SS/NP7338 as well. I'm in a class at the moment, so can't really post pics or anything, but will soon if you need proof of me having it :)

Out of curiousity, did you go with the 1080 panel or the QHD panel? I went with the 1080 panel and havent had any regrets. Quite a few people have had a number of complaints about the QHD panel, but of course... It's still QHD, so I'm curious if you got it and how you find it.

I got the 1080p panel. The DPI is high enough as it is without going QHD. Windows 8 handles the high DPI well though.
