Nothing is wrong. For example in SWTOR those are alpha textures and the only way to get those antialiased is to either use driver FXAA (which is currently broken for that game if you use in game MSAA too), downsampling or TrSSAA (has some visual glitches) or TrMSAA (doesn't work in SWTOR). Also the ingame MSAA in SWTOR is quite poor. To get rid of shader or specular aliasing you'd need to use downsampling, supersampling or SGSSAA. Combining downsampling with FXAA or SMAA should improve things even further. In those TF shots it appears that the person who posted those pics is using 2xMSAA at max or nothing at all and just resized the picture. MSAA doesn't work well at all in todays game engines.
